Macedonia is a territorial name(like Thrace(Tracia/Trakia also known as East Rumelia/nowadays South Bulgaria), Moessia(nowadays north bulgaria), Panonia, Dalmatia, Dobrudza, Bavaria(Germany)....). Samuel is a bulgarian Tzar(after his defeat Basil II get known in history as the "Bulgar slayer"). Basil II Porphyrogenitus (Greek: Βασίλειος Πορφυρογέννητος Basileios Porphyrogennetos 958 – 15 December 1025), nicknamed the Bulgar Slayer (Greek: ὁ Βουλγαροκτόνος, ho Boulgaroktónos), was the senior Byzantinethe/East Roman Empire emperor from 976 to 1025. He defeated the army of Tzar Samuel who was trying to free the enslaved territories from the east romans . At the time the eastern territories(the regions Moessia and Thrace) were in the borders of the East Romans. Tzar Samuel die from heart attack seeing his army coming back(for every 100 men 99 blinded(without eyes) and every 100th man was left with one eye to bring them back home)
