Кипу (кечуански: Khipu) било средство за забележување податоци кој се користел од Инките во Тавантинсују и од претходниците на овој народ. Кипу обично се состоело од ткаенина на кој се наоѓале влакна од лама. Исто така можело да биде изработано и од памук. Влакната содржеле нумерички забележани податоци во вид на јазли во основен систем. Кипуто можело да има неколку влакна или повеќе од 2.000 влакна.
